Num Galleries: 0 | Description Graduate Student in Clinical Psychology at the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. My area of research is self-esteem, which includes understanding how people's sources of self-esteem influence their self-esteem, psychological well-being, and behavior. This aspect of my resesearch involves testing Branden's theory of self-esteem as proposed in _The Six Pillars of Self-Esteem_. I also examine how self-esteem is related to success, psychopathology, and mood regulation.
My passion outside psychology is sonwriting and performing. Please check out audio streaming of the CD my band recorded last summer:

We are a mix of rock, folk, pop, and a bit of country. Our singer's vocal stylings have been compared to Chrissie Hynde, Stevie Nicks, and Sheryl Crow. If you like straight-up rock, "How's it going to be" is a fan favourite. But if you prefer the lighter side, "Tidal Wave" and "Don't Believe We've Met" may be more to your liking.
