It's true. We're all watching "Dog The Bounty Hunter" www.dogthebountyhunter.com . We are hypno-tibed!

Now, you are in this pattern where you scream like a little bitch for articles, then the que gets too big. We are Objectivists! We know business flow process, goddang it!! Engineer something, Great Editor One.  The next thing that will happen is we will submit, and then wait for a week for gratification! Unacceptable!!! I can't shit out diamonds and then wait a week for these $%^&% sanction points. I need ATLAS GUYS. I want the whole fucking set!

Idea: Open writing contest for Objectivist African Americans.

Television at its finest.

I haven't seen every episode, but tell me: is there ever one where The Dog arrests someone that looks even remotely dangerous?

His wife is the truly hardcore one. Loved the episode where she goes to a kickboxing bout for Mother's Day!

The team prayer is pretty good too: "May the good Lord watch over us, as we prepare to go full blast..."

You kids and your adult swim... I prefer the sophisticated legal drama of Harvey Birdman Attorney at law.

Wait I'm just realizing I don't know the ages of anyone else who noted their affection for adult swim, I may very well be younger than them.

Well, since we all came from Africa, guess that means contest is open to all Americans, huh...

31 and still watching cartoons. :)
Sarah, do I get a robot body if I do? With laser eyes? I watch the full Sunday lineup. Just happen to have the DVDS of Aqua Teen, so I watch them more. Sealab's good, Venture Brothers is nothing short of perfection. Tom Goes to the Mayor has its moments, Home Movies makes me miss Dr. Katz, and the Oblongs are just wrong in the right way.

Rich-
Regarding blacks and objectivism my question is; what is your point?  It's not a sarcastic, rhetorical question, I'm truly curious.

I knew a bunch of African American Objectivists when I was active in the Harvard club in the late 80s/early 90s, at least 2 of whom were actually from Africa. So they do exist, and they can kick the hell out of PC arguments on campuses with speech codes, because they can say things that I (for example) couldn't get away with. Plus there was one white Afrikaaner girl from South Africa who came to one of the meetings. She was the only South African I met who was interested in Objectivism, until I met Barry Kayton.

Rich, unless it deals with a topic in current events, the only way an article will ever get posted the day after it is submitted is if the queue is running bone dry. This would be bad  both for SOLO and my psychological health, so it is a state of affairs I try to avoid. Yes, there is an ebb and flow to the article queue. My job is to nudge it towards "flow" when we start overdoing the "ebb" part.

Also, one other thing I should point out: I try to space out multiple submissions from the same author. So, if you submit two articles to the queue and the first one gets posted, you should expect to wait at least five days or so before you see the next. (Unless they are part of a series.)

Only ever saw one episode of Venture Bros., but I laughed my ass off.

Yes, but you'd only be 5 feet tall (1.524 meters in the superior system).

I enjoy large mammarian protrusions, as Frank Zappa put it, but man... Those things are weapons. She looks kind of like Divine, but she's a girl, and prettier.

It's an interesting show. It's like if the Osbornes were in Hawaii, and had mace. :)

Prettier? You need to get out more! Dog the Bounty hunter, indeed...

Do you still watch Zoey 101?

Oh, and it's queue by the way. Wink, wink.

Andrew, I left you a "sparkling new nugget" for when you return [gahd, that doesn't sound good -- sort of like a house dog leaving you "presents" after you've come back from a trip]

Ye' Ole' Nugget-Polisher,

[eeyewww! -- now, that doesn't sound like an altogether sacrosanct endeavor either!]

That said, you sir, can polish a nugget -- like nuggets are going out of style! Thanks!

Barry Kayton! I'm not alone! Yeah! He's in Cape Town though.

Seriously, there are a few of us.

Wayne,

Barry Kayton is a great guy.  I met him at the TOC Summer Conference at UCLA in 2002, but he used to be very active on SOLO as well.  He also has a wife and I believe a brother who are interested in Objectivism.
