Addendum:

     At that slideshow-site there was a name or two *I* was surprised at finding.

     There is link there titled "When It Was Out To Be Out". Here are some earlier male (who've played lovers and just plain 'macho'-men) and female celebs which will surprise quite a few; the mini-bios are also quite interesting.

     Just as interesting, to me, is a missing name. Some former co-workers of mine who were gay just 'knew' that Tyrone Power had more than one gay tryst. So much for wishful-thinking: name not listed. Couldn't find Jodie Foster's name either.
