David, remind me never to edit another one of your articles without an ample supply of tissues nearby. Your piece was heartbreakingly poignant and beautiful. I have never been in love, but it is works of art like yours that inspire me to press on with the search.

Thank you.

You know your love is real, when you both feel it getting stronger after both of you go back to work.

Yoon and I already experienced it, but thank you, David, for putting it into words.

Beautiful article David.

No wonder you own a multi-media empire (Bertelsmann) ;-)

To say 'I love you' one must first be able to say the 'I.'

Very important message in your article is not to lose the 'I' inside.

I wish the best for you and your new found love.

Beautifully written - as always, David. I'm very pleased for you. At the same time, I can't help wondering if Lanza's love songs have played a part in your romantic reawakening :-)

Thanks to everybody for your wonderful comments. I am flattered to see how well you "got" the message that I was trying to get across.

David

PS Apologies to Joe Rowlands. The article of his that I referred to is actually called Life AS a Process, something I just realised now.

Great article. I don't know who said the following to his/her lover:
"You make me want to be a better person." After all, we want to be excellent in order to enjoy life to the fullest - and love is an important ingredient. We want to earn the look of love in which we can bask. I once loved someone and the love was not returned (i got over it), but I produced some of my best work just knowing such a person exists.
Thanks again for reminding me how beautiful love is.

Beautiful Article !

I've just come out of a relationship that went all wrong because of some of the reasons you wrote about,  he forgot all his hopes, dreams and wanted to live his life through mine. I couldn't breath. Quite Sad really.
Pity  we are not talking as I would send him this article which could explain some of the reasons why it didn't work out.

Great to be reminded what its all about , thanks!
