I really have no idea. Judging from your strong reaction, I'm guess the answer is...no?

The reason I had asked is if there really are too many blonds in the picture, is it mostly because blonds actually do get more opportunities, or that everybody buys into that notion and bleaches their hair accordingly, contributing to an illusion that confirms the preconception?

I think it is because the gen for blond hair is non-dominant, which means that we will have no blondies in a few millenia, except genetic engineering can provide a solution.

So, I guess, our body and our brain knows this and chooses people accordingly ;)

Although, I must say I like black hair a lot :)
