Bob, I have to admit I thought you'd be the lone exception to my statement.

Damn that was a great story.

But thanks for chiming in.

I also got your 'Just a Guy Named Joe' comment, Landon. The Ditko issues of Spider-Man truly get better with age.
About using this technique for a cover one day, I like to keep the style of my cover art and interior art congruent. I'm always annoyed by the instant let down of picking up a comic book because of it's strong, fully color painted cover, only to find black and white interior art that just does not match in quality. That's one of the reasons I chose to have a black and white cover for Table for One, to reflect the interior.
But different stories require different considerations and my next book will illustrate that.

I think I understand your sentiment Bosch, but I kind of cut my teeth on some of the early DC Vertigo stuff... so I kind of see the value of using a different art style on the cover than the interior.

If your up for it I'd like to debate this with you elsewhere but I don't want to take any more attention away from your work on this thread.

Landon, I'd definitely like an argument against my take on the cover/interior dichotomy, bring it up on my forum.
