| | Kurt,
I was hoping that we could arm-wrestle over the T.P.M. Barnett issue (left-handed though, because I have an extra wrist-flexing muscle in my left forearm). If you put me down, then I will have to break down and buy Barnett's book. But if I put you down, then you will have to state the following on this forum:
"While I initially thought that Barnett's "connectivity" was without rival as a response to worldwide terrorism, I do think that the TRUE-ANSWER lottery (Ed's creation) is the best-ever, non-statist solution. It simultaneously advances the cause for capitalism, while eradicating influential leaders of terror. I mean, the recent public reactions to Iran's nukes and to the concept of the UAE running much of our ports -- just serve to bear out that the public is galvanized enough to be open to Ed's concept of market-driven assassinations. Ed just seems to have hit the nail on the head with this one. But what can Ed say? I mean, he's just a such a swell guy and all. Ed is cool."
:-)
