Thanks Joe!

Thanks Ashley!

I'll write a bit more later, but for now I wanted to let everyone know that I'm working my way through the articles in the queue. We could definetly use more and ones of varied length. Currently most of our articles are quite long. You should, of course, write articles as long as needs be to cover your topic, but it's nice to have a variety. Articles that have been in the queue the longest will be given priority, but I'm also trying to post them as they seem fit given given current discussion themes, goals, current events, and what not. The longer articles are taking me some time to proof, but if you are concerned about one of your's feel free to drop me a note.

Thanks!

Ethan

As a professional editor myself, the first thing I would do on this site is correct the capitalization error in the logotype at the top of the page. It should be "Rebirth of Reason." This would also be in accord with the abbreviation "RoR." As far as I know, there is no established style yet of capitalizing all words in displayed text (though in some contexts I have advocated it).

There is also a long-standing error in the greeting:
Welcome back to [SoloHQ or RoR], Rodney Rawlings .
There should not be a space before the period.

These are small items, but then again copyediting is all about small things in aid of mental operations.

Perhaps it is Dean Michael Gores' job to look after such things than Ethan's, but this seems like a good place to bring them up.

See how you are Rodney? You come back and I welcome you, and now you just try and find things for me to do! :-)
Those are problems for Dean, however, so you are forgiven!

I see that the Webmaster has not only make this correction, but has trademarked it as well.  Good!

Hey, I own the copyright on that. I speak French, and "Renaissance de Raison" is RdR, which are my initials. Under today's legal requirements and logical standards, that gives me a solid claim.

I'm glad to see the "o" in "of" lowercased: Looks better,
I think, as well as now being in accordance with
prevailing style for titles.

While copyediting glitches are being pointed out...

This sentence appears in the descriptive comments
on the site's home page:

"We also seeks to be a microcosm of the world we want to create."

That should be "seek" not "seeks."

Or at least make it consistent, with: "We also seeks to be a microcosm of the world we wants to create."

Even The Gallery of “Misused” Quotation Marks capitalizes their title’s “of.” (Despite this lapse and others, by the way, I’m sure Objectivists would “enjoy” that site.)
