Julia, you Wiccan wench:

"You will discover individuals who are adamantly pro-hero, to the point of ruthless."

...ruthlessness, not ruthless, surely.

Either way, it sounds a bit, well, ruthless. Why not just stop at the comma?

I don't know if that Montana locale is a good idea--New Zealanders are very fond of *chainsaws* :-)

Wow, Julia, you have done some outstanding research here!  As you might expect, I voted for Kissimmee.

Julia contacted me about recommending a place in Boston. I was all for it untill I say the picture of "Mysterio." Florida works for me!

Thanks Ross, woof.

Ethan - I lived in Boston, and love it.  Let us know if you turn up a location!  I attempted, but prices are pretty steep.

And Kissimee even has a naturist resort nearby, for those who really would 'dare to bare' :-) [it's the AANR headquarters, I believe]...

My vote is for St. George (for the combination of affordability and beach), then Kissimmee (for space and affordability) or Montana (for beauty!). But really if I can get there I'm game for any of them!

Julia, how many bedrooms is kissimmee? If there are a lot more private bedrooms that would probably sway my vote to there.

Robert, is there really a naturist resort in Kissammee?  He, he, he . . .

Elizabeth,  the Kissammee site has a total of 14 bedrooms, so more than last time.  Check out the site link here.

These places are all booking up like crazy, so it's good we're discussing this now.

I think my vote hinges upon the possibility of living like a sardine or not.  How many people attended last year?  I know you can't predict this years numbers, but what if we overflow our accomodations?

Robert, thanks for the intel.

Hi Jody, you are correct, it is hard to predict.   I can say that we will work to make the SOLOC 5 accomodations unforgettable for all the right reasons.

Great job, Julia.  I voted for Kissimmee.  The number of bedrooms makes all the difference.  And this will be my first time to Florida. :)

Well, I had voted for Mysterio, but Kissimmee works!

Julia, yeah, Boston is pretty expensive. THat's why I moved to Maine, though I still work in Mass! Florida is cheap and warm!

Let me add my thanks for your effort, Julia.

I have been pushing for NZ, but all these places look beautiful, and I would go to any of them.

The Kissimee property looks like it would be a great time, and I am always excited about a trip to DISNEYWORLD! I think Epcot would make a perfect SOLO field trip. Sign me up!

Wow, lots of votes for Montana.  It's good to know we have so many wealthy SOLOists.  Salmon Lake is my pie in the sky dream spot for Objectivists, super expensive, super beautiful.   $100/day/per person may be out of some people's price range, but I was curious to see.

Gotta say, it's looking like Kissammee.  The owner sounds competent, helpful, and well-thought-through.  And it will be (comparitively) easy on the pocket book.

Regards,

Julia

Kissimee works for Kat and me. Dinner on me might have been awkward anyway, without booze or white sugar...
