| | Michael and Eric,
Thank you very much for the kind words and the welcome.
Its exhilarating to hear that you feel spiritually connected to Rand and did you include Solo as well?
Yes but it is less so. I am interested in the topics that are being discussed here (Israel, Islam, animal right, homosexuality, culinary delight, etc., etc.), and here I find the views that are similar to mine, and definitely not the mainstream. I think our host Linz has done an admirable job with this site. But I have to say that I've seen too much abrasive languages and flared-up tempers from some of the posters during my short time here.
Have you introduced yourself? Would you mind if you haven't done so in an earlier piece?
No I haven't. Of course I don't mind to do so. But where do I start? A very short version for now: I came to the US from China in September of 89'. Did graduate study here in US. For the last 10 years or so, I've been trying to establish my career, have a family, and raise my child. I am now working at a medical center of a state university in US, spending ton's of government money and doing something that probably have no practical applications what's-so-ever at all.
Many people on Solo and some of the other Objectivist sites know each other in real life; I know about 20.
I'd be interested in meeting some new people. But I am afraid that I may be very boring.
You sound like a very thoughtful guy and it would be great to know about where your coming from.
Hmm, this is probably the highest compliment I ever get! I am so proud and blushing... just as Ayn Rand once did...
Thank you guys!
