Good (from my limited base for appreciation) haiku; but, as a 'haiku-SET,' I'm lost.

Other than there being 7 poems, is there some 'connection' amongst them (re the Title of the set) that I'm missing?

As far as I remember, he did a bunch of haiku, which in this case, numbered seven, and thought to play on 'magnificant seven' is all... each stand or fall on their respective own...

Have always enjoyed "Necessities" the most of these - tho "The Transient and the Concrete" follows closely.....
