That is terrific, Joe!

It captures exactly how I felt as a new Objectivist with the weight of my irrational mind and the irrational world falling from my shoulders -- and with a new sphere of happiness, friendship and romance opening before me.

I'm printing your poem out now to put next to my printer at work. Thank you.

Joe you have a way of capturing so much in so few words. Very nice! And thank you for putting it up for us to see. Takes a special kind of generosity and courage to do so.

Do you have a sample of the song with instrumental backing? It'd like to see the whole vision of the song :)

Thanks, all :).

Max, sadly, no. I DID record an instrumental, for which the words were written, but I never recorded the vocals...I wrote the melody out of my range!

Joe,

I finally got around to reading this. Boy am I glad I did.

I wouldn't want you to change a word.

Bravo.

Try to do a demo and show it around to get this thing recorded by somebody. It deserves to be in the market. (I presume that the music is OK.)

Shine on, bro.

Michael

Very nice. Let me add my encouragement to your bringing music to the lyrics. As I read them, I clearly heard it as a song, not a spoken poem.
