Ahh, medical elitism. HGH (human growth hormone) alone costs over $100,000 a year! But if you take too much you begin to look like a neanderthal because it causes growth in specific bones and cartilage.

Fun Fact: If you want to know if someone had a lot of HGH, look at two places on their body -- their two front teeth and their wrists.

The front teeth will be separated (because HGH widens the upper jaw bone) and the wrists will have surgery incisions -- to relieve the carpal tunnel syndrome that HGH can cause (via overgrowth of ligaments and carpal bones in the wrist). But don't be rude and accuse them of overdoing HGH, having a tumor on your pituitary gland causes the same results (e.g., Andre` the Giant).

I think the question itself is not how Rand would have put it, remember; she wrote that Roark didn't have the concept of service, not even of service to himself...
