| | When I first encountered Ditko (I think it was when I read the origin story of Spider-Man) I thought his style was weird. But it grew on me and I began to like it very much, especially since Spider-Man quickly became my second-favorite superhero (my first favorite was The Flash, the one in the 1960s without the helmet). And when I found out about Ditko's championship of Ayn Rand, and his personality, I started to love the guy and his work.
Thank you, Bob, for the News link to a photo of him. I would never have dreamed he looked like that. Funny, it never occurred to me to Google his picture, even though I never had any idea of his appearance.
