hrhrhr.. nice one :)

Since the Universe is basically a cinematic and not a static system, we will never see a complete equilibrium, we only can assume virtual equilibrium :)

So, that's for you, beginner :)

Anyone here a lawyer?

I want to start a counter suit for damages done to the world by astrologers.  I want 300 million for the "moral sufferings" caused by this slime ridden lot for falsely claiming to be able to determine the future and falsely claiming to understand the hidden nature of the universe.

I would like to use any winnings to further study into the actual nature of the universe through SCIENCE.

Eric,

What an excellent idea! I'd like to see them prove their "abilities." 300 million's not enough!

Okay, Ethan, I read dozens of articles here regularly that outline insanities beyond belief -- and I have no trouble whatever believing them. But this one? It out-nuts every nuttiness yet! I can't get my mind around it. Please, if you can, keep us posted on what happens with the case. (Oh God -- she just might win!)

Eric and others -- It never ceases to amaze me that in the 21st Century so many people can't tell the difference between astronomy and astrology or science and scientology. I like to point out -- since I'm an active amature astronomer and originally majored in the subject -- that the sun moves through 13, rather than the 12 traditional constellations of the Zodiac; it moves through Ophiuchus after Scopio and before Sagittarius. Further, the days used by astrologers to determine what sign we're born under do not correspond to the actual times the sun is in the various constellations; it's only in Scorpio for a week.

I loved the John Stossel show where obtained the birthdays of a group of idividuals and had their horoscopes done. He brought them all together before the cameras, passed out the horoscopes asked if they were accurate. Most of these individuals said, "Yes, amazing, this horoscope really describes me!" You should have seen their faces when Stossel told them that they all were given the same horoscope, no matter what their birthdays were, and that the horoscope was one drawn up for a serial killer.

I think a stand up comic put it best (I don't remember his name).
"they make thosew things set up to where they can be kind of true for most people, I think it'd be cool if they made it frighteningly accurate for like 4 guys...

"Sagitarious: Howdy Steve, you know that annoying guy Rick in accounting with the bad breath... I think you should kill him."
