| | Yeah, some were less stellar than others. Some were interchangible, the inbreeding jokes, for instance. "Se habla Ingles" would work for several other states, as well as Texas. I'm not sure what I would come up with for Ohio and Michigan and those are my homes. All in all, though, this was not half bad. Usually these lists get painful, but this one held up all right.

(For the Objectivist spin, I question whether "states" are objective entities or only reified geographies. What is the ontology of statehood? I mean, if you look at them from orbit, there are no lines. Michigan is about the only state that is really a place in a physical sense without imaginary lines.)
