That Daredevil story sure is origional. I'm glad there's a book about him but I'd be far more keen to read about his brother The Silver Surfer. He is for sure one of the greatest heroes. If there's a book for his story I'd like to know about it. Maybe it could stand to loose some of the sloppy moralising. Silver Surfer animated was a hellova story.
Silver Surfer ps Landon- interested in your plans to create a comic book. Me too.

As far as Sliver Surfer goes the one thing that comes to mind was that Stan Lee and Jack Kirby reunited on him in the 80s to do a graphic novel (most likely to be listed as Silver Surfer Graphic Novel).  He was a personal favoirte for both of them so from what I've heard it is quite good.

Landon,

Daredevil is one of my favourite heroes too, I haven't read this particular book though I have read some of Miller's original stories. Shame about the Hollywood adaptation.

You definitely might want to read this one then, It kind of recovers a lot of ground Miller covered during his initial run but puts it all into context.  Specifically it gives a little more background on Jack Murdock and Elektra Natchios.

As to the movie, it has it's flaws but the director's cut is quite a bit better.  It even features a great deal of story elements from this book.

Landon,

Thanks for that, I will be sure to check out both the book and the director' cut of the movie (in fairness the cinema version wasn't absolutely dreadful or anything, but I did think it could have been much better than it was).

Agreed, but I started to think that myself after seeing the director's cut (though I kind of wish they would've left the love scene in)
