I like FB to see what people are up to. I enjoy celebrating with them as they achieve happiness or accomplish a major achievement.  I get to share their joy. But there are those who make political posts and these I hide and block sources immediately. I dont want to see these as they often produce ill feelings toward people I care about. My mother in law was such a kind person but since accepting the progressive persuasion has become mean, spiteful, and often difficult to communicate with. It is sad and I hardly see anything from her anymore because I block most of what she posts. 

A long winded way way of saying I generally agree - it's often better to not know.
