That's RubInstein!

Just listening to him now playing the Moonlight Sonata. Mario Lanza's words come to mind. If I may paraphrase slightly:

"I play each note as though it were my last on earth."

He was the grand master and is deserving of a place among the top five musicians of all time.   Some of my most used and abused CDs are various Rubenstein records -- especially recordings of works by Brahms and Chopin.

CD's? how about some old clay 78's... and they still evoke sense of passion...

Tee hee, I noticed that I spelled it wrong after I posted it, oops. Also, it was your last Daily, talking about Lanza, that made me think of the Rubinstein quote. :)
