I think its impossible to become more capitalist when the government decision makers are chosen by an equal weight per citizen majority vote. Unless we become so socialized that people start starving to death, at which point maybe the majority might vote a little more towards capitalism. My reasoning is due to the thought that moochers reproduce and multiply faster than producers.

I think the solution is one of the two:
1. Vote with your feet, move to SG or HK.
2. Go Galt, don't allow anyone to gain by taxation.

I don't think #2 would be effective without a significant majority of producer participation.

I put down "Other", since it seems there's no one magic bullet. Live a life according to your principles, advocate for those principles whenever the opportunity presents itself, and raise your children if you have them by those principles. Oh, and try to have fun doing so, since unless you're a genius like Ayn Rand, your individual actions will likely make very little difference in the huge sea of statism we all live in.

well, your world is YOUR world, after all, not everyone else's... and it began when ye were born, and ends when when ye die...

Robert -- true, but your world is full of other people, many of whom think they get to do stuff to you using the ballot box.

That said, I think we live in perhaps the best time to live, and the best part of the world to live, that has ever been, despite the best efforts of the statists to make it otherwise.

I voted other, because there was not an "all the above". It would be difficult for one person to do all these things, but all these things need to be done, so I'd say "do whatever you are able to do" to help shape this debate.

You reword the number six solution , Educate as many potential voters as possible about the reasons to fight for small government and capitalism. To read as, Educate as many potential voters as possible about the reasons Small government and simple capitalism would benefit them personally . I would then support That choice.
What is capitalism, anyway but the time versus money factor. Ones time is finite. Money is not, it is a symbol of the potential of the humans mind. If one has no Money, one sells his time.
How one utilizes his capital gain from selling his time usually involves a skill or at least the virtue of patience, he will invest his rewards with wisdom.
When one puts the words political and tactic together it does not inspire faith in any authority. You desire casaulity you get your hands dirty ,so to speak.
I guess now all us dumbasses have our work cut out for us trying to get the stock values of our employers on par with the book values . Don't fret though we have time.
