I was inspired to post this poll after reading a thread on Objectivism Online forum, in which user "LiberTodd" opined, "I'm pretty sure that if the election came down to Hilary or Huckabee, the Constitution would implode and blood would come out of the White House walls, like in The Shining." LOL

Sadly, the odds are very good that the horror movie scenario is all too likely. And H. Clinton is the odds on favorite in that circumstance.

If Huckabee is nominated, I'd call for a slap upside the head on every registered Republican that voted for him and handing the election over to the Democratic scum. Get ready for socialized health care, higher taxes on oil to combat "global warming", and a treasonous foreign policy of surrender.

Unfortunately, the first two -- and possibly the third, given how so many Republicans deserted President Bush at critical moments -- are very likely no matter who takes office. The next few years are probably going to be bumpier than the last few.

I didn't vote in the last 2 elections, and I will probably opt out of this one too. The only person I feel comfortable voting for is Dr Paul. I love listening to that man talk. He is a great American. And, as popular as he is online, I am not the only one who thinks so.

I couldn't vote for either based on my ethos. Both are morally abhorrent, both want to expand the powers of the government to levels equivalent to the Soviet Republics or Nazi Germany (as examples). And both would make my life online and offline very hard to live (either from expanded invasions of my privacy or additional taxation on my shrinking income). In the end, I would have to pull a John Galt, and leave the world if either came up, because I think that is the only way to escape such a tide of evil.

Like the bumper sticker from '04 "Kerry sucks less." Hillary sucks less, but by such a tiny little smidgeon that it is probably a god idea to vote for a third party. Ironically, the morality of voting green is almost identical as for voting for the other two.

No way, Bugs Bunny is a card carrying member of the Animal Liberation Front, is anti-gun rights and doesn't even have the decency to wear clothes in public. A vote for Bugs Bunny is simply hare-esy.
