Sorry Dean. In fact, I just made a modification so you can't even see what people were talking about before you logged on. I like that better. Forums are good for permanent records. Chat should be spontaneous and carefree.

I have logged in a couple of times... and waited... and waited...
How do you know when other people are on RoR?
How do you invited them to Chat?

On another forum I frequent, we used to have a user who took it upon himself to schedule a chat for a set time on Sundays every week. Maybe we ought to do the same. It's an easy way to get us shy folks to enter the chat room -- it's a little awkward to be the only person sitting in there, waiting...

You'll notice how everyone didn't jump in at once...

Myself, I work Sundays from 3:30 to Midnight. In fact, starting in January, I will be enrolled fulltime at both Washtenaw Community College and Eastern Michigan University and will be working weekends. So, for me, the best times will be Thursday nights and Sat & Sun mornings.

Over winter break, I am more available. In fact, I'm on right now in another window...
