| | It depends on the conversation. If somebody is asking my opinion on the government's tax policy, then I will speak my mind and draw upon objectivist principles in order to justify my position.
As an example, a cashier at the supermarket this afternoon asked me if I thought that Social Security will be around when she retires. I said, "I certainly hope not. Why should the government rob me to finance your retirement? Isn't the money I earn my private property?"
She was quiet for a few seconds, but then she said, "I hadn't thought of it like that. Where did you get that idea?" I just said, "Buy a copy of Atlas Shrugged."
