| | I'm an ARI member and supporter; I grew up in what I suppose would be described as somewhere in between "agnostic" and "philosophical void". We didn't go to church. When I was about 8, I asked my parents "what religion are we?" -- there was a long pause, and my mother said "Protestant."
My parents did encourage a respect for logic and evidence as the base for knowledge, probably because both hold degrees in the sciences.
Make of that what you will.
