You're preaching to the choir.
I'm for intellectual intolerance of religion and intellectual intolerance of all psuedo-science and while I'm at it, throw any other foolish claims based upon faith or upon a persistent twisting or manipulation of reason for their justification.
There is a valid difference that makes religion the poster boy of the worst of the irrational. That difference is that religion is the explicit upholder of faith as a virtue. That earns it the king-sized portion of contempt from me.
And government simply has no business doing anything in the area of religion, or science, or art.
