Should foreign wars be privately funded? I think so. To force people to pay for war can be paralleled to drafting. Foreign wars that are morally justified and serve our practical interests shouldn't require government coercion in order to succeed.

A government could fund a war privately by seeking donations from the public and funding the war solely by donations, so people who are unable or unwilling to fight can still support the war. So no funding would mean no war and no government coercion.
