Michael,

I suppose falling down and leaving your faceprint in the sidewalk is "art" too. Jackhammer out the section of sidewalk and put it on display. If the right person did it they could probably make money on it. Surprised no one's thought of it. That'd be a good staged art show, complete with slow motion video. Imagine the display, the video loop over and over, a light on the piece of concrete highlighting the "faceprint"..... Certain to make the NYT. It would be fascinating to the millions who haven't actually fallen on their faces.

Hong, go tomorrow then! With a very specific eye, let me repeat that, with a very specific eye, I like Jasper Johns, indeed, much more than the celebrated Kandinsky! I bet you will like his work too...but I would like you to give us an astute view of the philosophical messages you get from their works! Take Duchamp seriously, he is ranked, I believe by the BBC poll of 500 art experts, the most influential artist of the 20th Century. Personally, I find that frightening.

Mike,

I wonder if you would make a great postmodernist...but you are on the right track--nice creative flip.
