You know the media is in a sad state if one can accidently cause them to report not only false but flagrantly idiotic news. I wonder if it would be possible for a collection of bloggers to target mainstream media sources and feed them misinformation just to see if they would check their sources. Would be an interesting media watch dog method. It would be far more interesting than waiting for them to admit their wrong doings in the middle pages of their own publications.
