"A Radical Reassessment" is the best short summary of Lanza's life I have ever read. Even I, who have been intimately involved with Lanza since 1951, learned new things in it.
Derek, I don't know of anyone who is doing more for Lanza's legacy than you are.

James: I'm very touched by your comments, but I regard kindred spirits like yourself and Lindsay as contributing equally to Lanza's re-evaluation. And then there is Armando Cesari, whose towering achievement (Mario Lanza: An American Tragedy) is doing so much to change attitudes.

I recall someone in my dim past who blew his inheritance on a house on a lake nestled in the Maine woods, a Cadillac convertible and a commisioned portrait of Mario Lanza!

David, whoever you are - whoever that was had impeccable taste & discernment. A better way of blowing a fortune I can't imagine!

Wasn't Mario Lanza the guy who always said, "You look mahvelous"?
