MH,
I had forgotten how much I used to enjoy this series.
You have made me see it in a new light. The attractions (well they are all rather gorgeous aren't they?) of the cast and the quick dialogue made it great after work relaxation.  My favorite character (apart from Spike the anti hero) is Xanders'
girlfriend who is a Daemon or (Demon ) I believe.  She has a bluntness that would fit in just fine in the solo forum!

Oh my god I love this show!

David: Those are my favorites too. Actually Cordelia is THE BEST. She was awesome on Angel too, until they made her a demon and then the whole show got kinda dumb until the final episodes when Spike came on board as a... I wont spoil. Uhhh so hilarious! Love.

Buffy comes totally recommended. Especially the first season.

The episodes written and directed by Joss Whedon are usually the best, as well. He has a better sensitivity for the Buffy character than the other writers, I think. What I enjoyed about Buffy was her explicit struggle with the contradiction between directing your own life and resigning to fate. She resents fate terribly and even tries to change her destiny at one point.

Just AWESOME.

I also recommend Angel.

Yeaa!

I can do without it but my mate can't and she got me to watch "Once More With Feeling", where the community comes under the curse of having to express themselves by singing showtunes.

This is the one that shows how good the cast is, how good the stories and themes are as the hopes and fears, characters and spirits pour out and it also shows how clever that Joss bloke is to have made it all into music that one time. It's worth seeing as an artistic duty, like Fantasia.

Like so many shows, this is one that I began following AFTER it went off the air (just like my favorite show of all-time, the excellent Firefly, also by Joss Whedon--check it out!). It has wit and is interesting in ways that so many shows today do not have.

It's funny how the right hates this show so much. It actually was (for the first five seasons) one of the most moral shows on televison. It has good and evil. You know who is good and who is evil and why. I think it jumped the shark about the time it went to UPN.

I have also met Amber Benson, Robia LaMorte, and Iyari Limon. See her movie Chance if you can. She is wonderful.

Every actor does a good job on the show.

Favorite ladies:
1. Amber Benson
2. Michelle Trachtenberg
3. Robia LaMorte
4. Felicia Day
5. Eliza Dushku

Best villains:
1. Angelus
2. The Mayor
3. Caleb
4. Mister Trick
5. Drusilla
6. Glory
7. Spike (second season)
8. Harmony
9. Ethan Rayne
10. The Master
