| | I liked this movie. I thought it was well made and entertaining. You have to remember that it was intended as a comedy. The sense of life they showed was for example someone enjoying the pulling out hunks of roast (?) chicken. Several morbid characters were cheered up and invigorated by Amelies good spiritedness and optimism. Her ambition in this area did seem to almost border on some level of self-sacrifice. Or did I remember that wrongly? Nevertheless, the film definitely does leave you happy and in high spirirts. The lead actress is sexy, and there is quite a nice love story too.
