Thank you all for not criticizing this joke for its lack of logical rigor.

Firstly, if the husband's not finding his way home is an adequate test for Alzheimer's then the lab test would be unnecessary.

Secondly, in order for the joke to make sense, each man must have been scheduled for the same two tests — an extremely unlikely event.

Nevertheless, the joke was funny without a lot of analysis.

It's not the illogic, Sam. It's the obvious contempt for the mentally impaired and for those with unfairly stigmatized diseases - and the women that love them - that bothers me.

I noticed that the article for "pink" at wikipedia lists a slew of concepts with which the word pink is associated. Communist sympathizer is pointedly absent.
