| | I found this joke to be insensitive. It's a deliberate satire against a "group" (i.e., cavemen). Cavemen, as a group, ought to have some rights -- such as the right not to be made out to be the butt of a joke. Sure, they weren't in command of the depth and breadth of knowledge that modern humans are -- but that shouldn't be held against them (they didn't choose to be so relatively ignorant).
Satirically attacking "groups" for things about which they had no choice -- like this insensitive joke does -- ought to be made criminal (with a stiff penalty). For instance, how are cavemen -- as a group -- ever expected to recover any kind of self-esteem, after such a demoralizing joke has been penned? After they've been made so much fun of.
If cavemen are too dumb to stand up for their rights (or to even know that they have rights), then someone should step in on their behalf. It's just the right thing to do.
