Technical problem

I just got on the web site. It wasn't acting normally, and it displayed the message Number mismatch 5508 does not match at SHQ_User.pm line 935.

Jeff has been working on it and fixed a few major issues so far. Some file got deleted for some reason but he expects to be able to reconstruct it and get things working.

After several unsuccessful attempts to reset my password, I finally succeeded today.

Now, if someone could just help me reset my password for the old Atlantis list (so I could access the archives...what there is of them), that would be peachy!

Luke, what browser are you using? Running on a Macintosh (OS Catalina now, but other OSes earlier), I found that RoR is not compatible with Safari. I log in with Chrome. I have not had problem, but have not done much besides post text. What problems are you experiencing?

I use Chrome and when I click the "Edit" button I either get a blank screen or an earlier version of the post.

Right. I then click the Refresh circle-arrow in the browser bar. Sometimes the same thing happens (with the same fix) when I post. This board was written by one person. It is a tremendous effort. I appreciate the work that went into this. If Joe had Gilfoyle and Dinesh, he could fix the bugs in one 36-hour kanban session.
