Liberate Iran!

America and the Western nations should energetically and intelligently support the long-suffering people of Iran as they currently seek to overthrow their tyrannical regime. The last time the Iranians attempted to revolt, in 2009, the Americans and Westerners failed them miserably. All intellectual leaders in the colleges, think tanks, and cultural review publications today should absolutely demand that the evil Iranian dictators respect the untouchable, inalienable, Nature-given rights of the Iranian people. And these intellectual leaders should also demand that the Iranian people show some self-respect, stand up for themselves, and attempt to cast off their loathsome attackers and destroyers. Let everyone in Iran realize that freedom and individual rights are sacred and non-negotiable for all mankind!

The political leaders of America and the West should loudly and passionately promote and say the same. And, at the right moment, there should also probably be surgical military strikes against the current monstrous leaders of the Iranian government, party, military, police, and religion. Let the good people of Iran ferociously rise up and overthrow their current hideous enslavers and destroyers!

What's interesting here is that there are still Iranians to this day which deeply resent Mohammed and think Islam ruined Iran. They long for the days of Cyrus the Great and the former magnificence of Persia. They see Islam as an alien influence and a primitive, backwards, mere Arabic philosophy -- which it really is! Many Iranians are proud of their history and natural greatness. They consider themselves a frontier people and nation which is ideally located on the dividing line between India and the West. And they view themselves as the best of both worlds and cultures -- or at least potentially such.

I hope Trump can promote Iranian nationalism in a way which crushes the evil, foolish, primitive, childish philosophy of Islam. The Commentary magazine article above suggests that this is a good possibility.  I hope America and the West are really clever and wise over the next few days and weeks!  We need to help defeat this enemy of America, as Steve notes above, and convert them into friends and allies. This is an easier foreign policy problem to solve than North Korea, and it's a golden opportunity for the Western liberals of the world -- such as they are -- to help uplift and liberate a long-suffering people. Ultimately, no-one deserves to suffer under the wretched philosophy of Islam!
