Greetings, y'all. I believe that I have not posted here since moving to Tennessee in July 2010. I'm glad that my absence hasn't been the occasion for much wailing and gnashing of teeth over my possible fate. :-) I had a wonderful phone conversation with Bill Friday night, and he mentioned people here inquiring as to his whereabouts and condition. I had intended to post a little note saying he was alive and well, but I'm glad to see that he beat me to the punch. Bill is like the Energizer Bunny -- or perhaps, a Timex watch (takes a licking and keeps on ticking). How many of us can say that we have been pushed into a public transit vehicle and lived to tell the tale? :-) Bill is a National Treasure, and certainly a valuable asset to the Objectivist movement, whether most of it realizes so or not. (I certainly do.) In our conversation, he reminded me again that he is 8 years older than I, and I replied that I hope that continues to be true for many, many years! Now, as to Ed Thompson...?
