A SOLO Chat Room?

Could there be a SOLO chat room on this site? Would anyone want one? Or would it just degenerate like so many chat rooms?

I've looked into it briefly, but most domain hosts don't like chat rooms. They're CPU intensive, and unless you pay for your own machine, that's a shared resource. So currently, there is no plan to add one. I would be curious how many people would actually be interested in using it.

I am not too sure how useful it would be for arguments. Some of us can't get out coherent arguments when we have time to think about it. A chat room would be a mess if more than four people were argueing about a subject.

The chat room might turn into a place to hold real time intelectual pit fights...that would be interesting to watch. Oh the money you could roll if people were interested in intelectual pit fights. Invite a socialist off another board to argue with a Solo contender in our "chat pit." finding a pannel of objective judges wouldn't be hard, but getting the opponents from other boards to accept the verdict might be hard. Oh the blood bath it would be! hell Joe, you could sell tickets to them and have the site take bets and act as a bookie!

But on a serious note: for friendly purposes it would be cool to have real time chats. I'd use it if it wasn't too harsh on my connection.
