My article "Ayn Rand and Contemporary Business Ethics" came out recently in the Journal of Accounting, Ethics, and Public Policy (Volume 3, Number 1, pp. 1-26).

I have also posted it on my website, so here's the link, if you're interested:

It will also soon be posted online at the Social Science Research Network site.

All the best,

I fully agree with Mr. Rawlings' evaluation of Professor Hicks' work. This is a thorough, logical, step-by-step identification of the errors in contemporary business ethics and the Objectivist alternative.

May I have Professor Hicks' permission to non-commercially reprint this essay on my magazine, The Rational Argumentator?

Hello again, Lindsay and G. Stolyarov:

Thanks, G., for posting my article -- it looks very good at your site. I re-read the article there and I must say I found its arguments very compelling.

Lindsay, about publishing my art talk to Michael Newberry's FAA conference in New York:  One magazine has expressed interest but is currently investigating the cost of getting permissions for including the 35 pictures that go along with the lecture. If that does not work out, I'll be looking elsewhere for a publisher.

On a related note:  Michael Newberry was in Illinois at Rockford College this past weekend, and he and I gave talks sponsored by the Philosophy Club's "The Future of Art" event.  The talks were very well-attended and generally well-received, and they sparked some vigorous exchange between us and several postmodernism-friendly art professors.  High drama and great fun.  The event was recorded on digital video, and we will be looking the possibility of publishing it on cd-rom.

Best,
Stephen
