I've gone ahead & ordered this. I noted the rave reviews by the posters at amazon.com If the CD lives up to them I'll be more than satisfied.

Wow Lindsay!

And I thought you found Baroque to be too mathematical.

Bach, Handel and Vivaldi are favourites of mine also, I will have give this CD a listen at my local record shop :-)

I have listened to the samples on Garrett's web site, and I think the CD is definitely worth the purchase.  I'm glad to see it listed here.  :)

Wow!  I had a violin teacher once who told me my interpretation of the Bach unaccompanied Sonatas and Partitas was "too romantic."  News of this CD is very heartening, since it supports my instinct that Bach is so timeless that he is open to any style of interpretation.  This is the first time I have ever heard of an Objectivist violinist.  It is rare to find such a person in the profession which, believe me, is full of subjectivists.  I will take a listen at Amazon.com and probably get the CD.
