Heyyyy wasn't HEE the guy that bought over a million in gold futures contracts FOR delivery ( he was not speculating he was hedging to take possession of bullion upon the contract completion) and got a bullshit margin call there by getting ripped off even though he had more than enough cash to cover it?
I'm not sure. The only thing I know is that he is a top-dog, something like "editor-in-chief", at Breitbart.com -- and that the way he speaks about the way the Left speaks (about their modus operandi) is as forceful and illuminative as I have ever witnessed. He is impressive.
Just read the transcript of the following interview with Piers Morgan and I agree, he seems pretty good. It's nice to see someone actually discuss without using one fallacious and disconnected point after another. It also struck me how much it seems to be a foregone conclusion that tyranny could not happen in modern times. It seems anyone who thinks so must be a loon. Then again it's hard to say how much good guns would do in a tyrannical situation, as Ayn Rand pointed out with her stance on gun control. Perhaps there is an optimal ratio of guns and ideas...
MORGAN: -- Rather than address your comments to me about standing on the graves of children at Sandy Hook, you can address them to Mark Kelly because he agrees with everything I have been saying because he feels the same way, as does his wife. They're gun owners. They both respect the second amendment of the constitution, they dont want to take away anyone's right to defend themselves with guns --
SHAPIRO: Well, they want to take away certain types of guns, obviously.
MORGAN: They want to take away assault weapons, which are capable with magazines that we saw in Aurora and Sandy hook, of unleashing a ridiculous amount of --
SHAPRIO: This is what I wanted to ask you, Piers, because I have seen you talk about assault weapons a lot, and I have seen Mark Kelly talk about assault weapons. The vast majority of murders in this country that are committed with guns are committed with handguns, they are not committed assault weapons. Are you willing to ban handguns in this country, across this country?
MORGAN: No, that's not what I'm asking for.
SHAPIRO: Why not? Don't you care about the kids who are being killed in Chicago as much as the kids in Sandy Hook?
MORGAN: Yes, I do.
SHAPIRO: Then why don't you care about banning the handguns in Chicago?
Recap: Ben Shapiro takes Piers Morgan to task regarding the supposed simultaneous support of the 2nd Amendment along with the incessant fervor to ban carbine rifles. Piers' motivation can't be to save innocent lives because, under his logic, that would mean supporting a total gun ban -- something which he says he is not in favor of. Thirty people are murdered every month in Chicago, but Piers doesn't want to address that because it would reveal his hidden agenda.
