| | I read this review on Amazon and found it an excellent "customer review" there because Luke, with brevity, still very effectively goes into enough detail about the book, essentializing for the thoughtful reader:
i) its structure, ii) its strong and weak points, iii) who might be a good audience, iv) quoting from the book so we can see its writing style and approach.
Many book reviews on Amazon and elsewhere don't tell you enough about or give adequate examples from the book for you to assess the book.
This was not only an example of a proper, thorough type of book review, but I learned a lot about the fundamental, evangelical brand of Christianity. I hadn't thought through all the implications...or realized it was -this- bad!!
