I've been wanting to read Patterson's book for awhile now but just haven't gotten around to finding it.  Now I have two books to add to my growing reading list.

It's Paterson with one t. I may find the time to read this. I have an older edition of God of the Machine. It is a great book.

And yet - I prefer Rose Wilder Lane's book to Paterson's.....

What do you think makes Lane's book better? I have read both. You're the only one I've encountered who has read both that liked Lane better.
