| | Both Samuel P. Huntington's 'The Clash of Civilizations and the Remaking of World Order' and Francis Fukuyama's 'The End of History and the Last Man' are truly great IMHO. Objectivist thinkers had SO much to potentially contribute to this discussion, but they missed the boat badly in not replying with the proper vigor, length, depth, etc. But both of these geniuses above are also "one hit wonders" I think. They wrote one good article, larded it out into a book of the same name, and haven't done anything remotely equal to it since.
