Goddammit Linz. After spending a whole week in your predatory company at Vancouver, I am safely accross the ocean and physically secure...and now your lips are sealed???!!!!!

Reveal the SOLO romance! Reveal it! I command you! After all, it would be a bit forward for Adam Reed and me to do so ourselves...

Oops.

Linz, I'm not sure if there are other clandestine romantic activities about, but this is a marvelous opportunity for me to let the cat out of the proverbial bag.  :)

I am writing this post from jolly old Oxford, England, where I sit with one Marcus Bachler, the love of my life and the most wonderful, brilliant man I have ever met.  I will soon be relocating to British shores to be with him on a permanent basis.

There is no way I could close out this year without thanking Linz, Joe and Jeff for creating the forum that made it possible for me to meet such an incredible man.  I'd also like to thank Linz for his secret words of encouragement in my pursuit of Mr. Bachler.  It was a worthy quest indeed.  :)

Happy 2005 to all of you!!!!!

Warmest regards,
Jennifer

And now, a message from Marcus:

Dichotomy be damned -- Jennifer has both a beautiful mind and a beautiful body.

P.S. The sex is great too!!!

God Save Queen Linz :-)

This is so beautiful. So cuuuuuuute. I think I'm gonna cry. (Nah, its just from the hot wing sauce.)

I have met Jennifer, so I know what kind of person she is, and Marcus does seem like a sweetheart from that adorable SOLO picture, so...oh, what the hell, come here you two, for a big online hug. I wish the best for the two of you, and pass on a big bundle of my love, which you may do with as you wish. Four smooches to each of you, one for each cheek (as Duke Ellington would say).

And if you two ever find yourselves in Los Angeles and would like to..."swing" by, if you know what I mean, my door is unlocked and I'll be waiting with handcuffs in the playroom. Heheh, just kidding. You're silly.

I do hope that this doesn't interfere with the planning of SOLO C4. I mean, love is one thing, but group love -- well, that's quite another.

xoxoxoxo

Ms. Iannolo & Dr. Bachler wrote (having come up for air):

"And now, a message from Marcus: Dichotomy be damned -- Jennifer has both a beautiful mind and a beautiful body. P.S. The sex is great too!!! God Save Queen Linz :-)"

My dears, it's a pleasure. I *do* like to see the young folk enjoying themselves.

Now excuse me while I show that pesky Alec what life's all about ...

Jennifer and I just welcomed in the New Year in a most explosive way!!!

Most people just let skyrockets off, whereas we were standing right in the middle of one!!! A most auspicious start to 2005!!!

Jennifer now has the scar to prove it.

Galt's Gulch eat your heart out :-)

Happy New Year Everyone!!!

Jennifer: Congratulations to you and Marcus.  This is wonderful news. Best to you in 2005 and for many years after.  Also thanks for recommending several restaurants in NY.  They will provide excellent places to take my potential new girlfriend in the future.  Paul M. Kay

Jennifer and Marcus, best wishes (I feel strange wishing you that since I don't know either of you, but things sure seem to be off to a good start!).

I imagine the Firehammer's and Stolyarov's of the world will be aghast at your declaration of sexual happiness on an Objectivist website, and this will probably confirm for them that SOLO is nothing but a 'perversion' of Ayn Rand's philosophy.
But they're probably just jealous (and so am I - but in a very positive way - any time I see people doing something I wish I was doing, I am all the more motivated to seek my own version of that because I know it's possible).

Jennifer and Marcus,

I send you all the rational benevolence I can muster in your worthwhile efforts to align your passions of the moment with your long range mutually beneficial self interest.  Few people accomplish such a feat.  Make yourselves an example for the rest of us of what such a love can be.

Happy New Year to all SOLOists!  And now I know why I have not heard from you, Jennifer!  :)  You've been busy across the pond!

Congrats to a very cute couple, Jennifer and Marcus!  Much health and happiness.  Perhaps I'll get to meet you both before too long!

Thanks so much to everyone for their benevolent wishes and kindness.  What a way to start the year!  I feel very blessed, indeed, to be surrounded by such magnificent people.

Chris, I will be back in NY next week, so I promise you that we are going for pizza in Brook-a-lyn.  :)

Happy New Year!

Congratulations Jennifer and Marcus.  I hope this is an example to everyone out there.  If you want to find true love, join the SOLO staff!  No coincidence there!

And to go back to Lindsay's most important point in the article, thank you for the personal compliment.  The feeling is mutual.

Also, for the big accomplishment of the year, SOLOHQ 2.0, thanks a ton to Jeff Landauer for the vision and the hard work that went into it.

True dat, Joe.  Jeff Landauer is the "Guy behind the Guy", that one rarely hears from or about.  He deserves stiff rum an' Coke from us all.

P.S. Jennifer, is the English cuisine as bland as it's said to be? hehe
