This painting doesn't seem to be original. "Mile High Skyscraper, "The Illinois", 1956 (not built)" by Frank Lloyd Wright is an extremely similar but IMO far superior picture. Check out http://www.delmars.com/wright/flw7a.htm. The resemblance is undeniable.

On that same website as the link for "The Illinois", is a page with a series of 17 Wright buildings that The American Institute of Architects designated as examples of his architectural contribution to American culture. The various pictures and descriptions are all very interesting.
