| Description To get the basic bio boilerplate out of the way: I'm a 22-year old senior pursuing a degree in mathematics at the University of Montana, with minors in political science and philosophy. I also have an econ degree under my belt. I was also an intern at TOC for summer 2004.
In my spare time, I try to shake my hometown of Missoula out of its somnambulant liberalism in a biweekly column for the university newspaper, the Montana Kaimin, and a weekly political talk show that I cohosted on the campus radio station, KBGA, but was shut down for reasons unknown. (If you're interested, you can read my columns by going to the Kaimin's website & searching for "Andrew Bissell.")
A regular reader of Reason, I first heard of Ayn Rand thanks to this article, which prompted several months of intense study and an ongoing fascination with Rand, Objectivism, and Rush.
