A different sort of "oligarch" Posted by G. Stolyarov II on 8/01/2004, 4:16pm | ||
"Having got rich in Russia, Kakha Bendukidze now wants to be the world's most capitalistic politician." Thus says The Economist. I say this man is a hero who is prepared to, by the sheer strength of his convictions, actualize the reversal of decades of Communistic ruin in Georgia and another decade of Communism in disguise. The advocates of freedom truly need but one country to function under unprecedented economic liberty in order for a domino effect of laissez-faire to spread throughout the world. If the tiny nation of Georgia can be elevated through the economic wisdom of Mr. Bendukidze (who plans to abolish his own ministry after the reforms are carried through) to the status of a commercial giant, what greater proof will the world need of the objective superiority of unfettered individualism in economics?
