Jacques Derrida, Abstruse Theorist, Dies at 74 Posted by Michelle Cohen on 10/16/2004, 11:36pm
An unusually astute and perceptive account of Derrida's philosophy and its inevitable manifestations in his conduct. Even though his death did not make headlines, his philosophy continues to deconstruct the very ground we stand on. Rest in peace, Derrida. You finally encountered one absolute which cannot be deconstructed. P.S. For an Objectivist perspective of Derrida, you can browse the archives of the TOC cyberseminar on the Continental origins of Postmodernism, at http://www.objectivistcenter.org/obj-studies/courses-cyber-postmodernism.asp[[/A>
