I just learned that my tax dollars have financed the appearance of Michael Moore at the University of Central Florida (UCF) in Orlando courtesy of the Campus Activities Board (CAB) and the Student Government Association (SGA). According to UCF Announcements page:Moore will be arriving this Saturday, Oct 2, 2004 at 2pm to speak on the urgent need of collegiate students, written off as "Slackers" in the demographics, to participate in local and national politics as well as raise some talking points on the current political scene, be it Iraq, the Economy, or the Media.I wonder what, if anything, SOLO Florida can do to turn this appearance to our advantage. | ||
