I bought this CD as a novelty a few years ago but was pleasantly surprised at just how good it is. Marilyn could really sing and the music on this CD is great.
Most of the songs featured here are from her movies and include "I Wanna Be Loved by You", "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend", "(This Is) a Fine Romance", "Bye Bye Baby", "Heatwave", "My Heart Belongs to Daddy", "A Little Girl from Little Rock" and more. The only true novelty is "Happy Birthday Mr. President" sung to John F. Kennedy live at Madison Square Garden.
This particular CD may be difficult to find but there are other collections available featuring many of the same songs.
Marilyn was the number one sex symbol of the 20th century. You'll understand why in listening to this music because that sexiness comes vividly across.
